Chrysler 300

Carloanshub  »  Cars  »  Top 10 Cars  »  Chrysler 300
The current model of Chrysler 300 is a large and spacious five-passenger sedan with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. This model of Chrysler 300 has been particularly designed to appeal those consumers who desire more touches of personality than a regular sedan or an alternative Japanese or popular European entry-luxury sedans. Some of the underlying mechanicals of Chrysler 300 have been derived from the technology of Mercedes-Benz, and it is also a platform to the Dodge Magnum and Charger.
History of Chrysler 300
The Chrysler 300 “letter series” cars were luxury cars delivering high performance and were built in limited numbers by the United States’ Chrysler Corporation between 1955 and 1965. This car series were those luxury vehicles that really aroused interest in performance among other major American car manufacturers in the post World War II era.

Styling of Chrysler 300
The styling and designing of Chrysler 300 is undoubtedly American. The car features large chrome grille, high beltline, double-lens headlines, large wheels, and bulging fenders to create a strong presence on the road - distinguishing it from the rest. A long 120 inch wheelbase is present in the car that shortens up the front and rear by providing overhanging and opening up plenty of occupant space available inside. The car also features cabin dimensions that are generous in every direction, and also offers better legroom than most of its rivals. The overall interior design has been described as elegance meeting with simplicity. The dash area of the car effectively combines semi-retro, sporty and luxury purposes.

Available Styles of Chrysler 300
Presently, there are five styles of the Chrysler 300 available in the market for customers to choose from: Touring, Base, “C” (labeled as the 300C), Limited, and the 300C SRT8. Even if budget-conscious customers mostly get attracted to the low-priced Base model, going for the Limited or Touring is suggested by experts as the trim levels are equipped with the type of standard features that are expected from this class of car. The cars are available in 8 shades: Inferno Red Crystal Pearl, Bright Silver Metallic, Cool Vanilla, Silver Steel Metallic, Linen Gold Metallic Pearl, Marine Blue Pearl, Steel Blue Metallic, and Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl.

The SRT8 and 300C versions of the Chrysler 300 are termed as the performance-oriented models. The prime difference between these two models is that the former has been designed and equipped for delivering maximum performance. The updated version of 2008 Chrysler 300 includes additional features and refreshed exterior styling.
