Overview
The Honda Accord is sold in car markets all over the world. It has been declared as the Best selling Japanese Car in the US market for 15 years. This Honda car is also the first among Japanese vehicles to be manufactured in America.

The model has undergone a lot of changes but the one thing that has remained unchanged is the performance. The accord continues to give the best service till date. A lot of versions have entered the market over the years. The latest is the Accord 2008 series, which includes the Accord Sedan and the Accord Coupe.
The name “Accord” was conceptualized to promote interrelationship between society, and cars. The car was designed to minimize on the consumption of fuel. Though essentially a Japanese car it was later manufactured in China and USA.
Previous editions
The initial model of Honda Accord was designed like a hatchback with double doors. The second versions of the accord were the first ever to be manufactured in US. The latter also gained popularity as the best selling Japanese car. 1985 was the year when the third remodeled Honda Accord was launched. This new version was stylish in design. The flip-up headlights were particularly attractive. The dual wishbones at the front and back ends was a feature that was introduced in this version. Four door sedans, coupe with two doors, lift back with three doors and an aerodeck that resembled a station wagon were the various types of Honda Accord. The next generation accords were sold by the Honda Clio dealers only.
In 1994 the fifth and 1998 the sixth edition of the accord was introduced. The latter version was imported from Thailand after it was built in New Zealand. In 2002 the seventh generation accords were launched in the market.
2008 Honda Accord
Accord Coupe and the Accord Sedan are the two series that comprise the current generation of this Honda car. The 2008 Accord Sedan is stylish and elegant vehicle. The spacious doors afford easy entrance and exit. Unloading huge goods or things is now not a problem. The colors are attractive all of which compliment the new design. The engine utilizes optimum fuel that promotes conservation. The car is spacious and has climate control technology. Bluetooth and hands free links are also provided inside the car.
