But one can always go for a high performance range by choosing such versions like Sport Compact or Hot Hatches. Family Saloons are arguably the first kind of compact cars to be launched in the European market. With the heavy flow of traffic in most of the countries, compact cars remained on top of the import list for most non car producing countries.
With the arrival of the 21st Century, most of the eminent models of compact cars launched their fifth generation models. Today almost all the countries in the world prefer compact cars over other models. This is because the compact cars offer cost effective services. They are also less harmful for the environment.
