Manufacturers of luxury cars have specific ways to deal with the demands of their clients. There are a number of brands of luxury cars, and one is as good as the other. Traditional manufacturers of luxury cars are Mercedes Benz, BMW, Jaguar and Audi. Apart from these manufacturers, Saab, Volvo and Lexus are also regarded as top manufacturers of top luxury cars. Some of the brands are associated with prestige and elegance, and owning a luxury car which belongs to any of these brands, is deemed to be extremely prestigious for the owner. These top brands are Maybach, Bentley and Rolls Royce.
Luxury Sports Cars are also considered to be among the premier classes of luxury cars. Manufacturers of these luxury sports cars include Porsche, Maserati and Aston Martin. These cars are also called “performance cars” as performance is given more priority than luxury. The first SUV, Super Wagoneer, was manufactured by Kaiser Jeep.

The entry level luxury cars include Acura TSX, Alfa Romeo 159, and Jaguar X-Type. The mid luxury segment has cars like Mercedes Benz E-Class, Lexus GS and Renault Vel Satis. High end and Ultra luxury segments include Lexus LS, Mercedes Benz S-Class, BMW 760, Mercedes Benz S600 and Volkswagen Phaeton W12.
